Occupy Sydney in pictures: what the NSW police destroyed

Occupy Sydney began on the afternoon of Saturday 15 October as part of a global call to occupy cities in protest against corporate greed.

Hundreds of Sydneysiders maintained a peaceful occupation of Martin Place for 8 nights, including a mass celebratory rally on Saturday 22 October to mark one week of protest.

I attended the Occupy Sydney camp every day, until it was forcefully dismantled around 5am on Sunday 23 October with those on site given only minutes warning.
